Perform a Cut-and-Paste Operation on a Message

Applies To: Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012

As an alternative to using the Move Message dialog box or performing a drag-and-drop operation, you can cut a message from a subqueue and then paste it to another subqueue of the same main queue or to the main queue itself.

Perform the cut-and-paste operation by right-clicking the message, and then clicking Cut or Paste . Alternatively, you can use keyboard shortcuts (CTRL+X and CTRL+V). You can only perform this operation on one message at a time; selecting multiple messages is not supported.
