Avoid reconfiguring DHCP on a new server by migrating an existing DHCP infrastructure
Applies To: Windows Server 2008 R2
You can move a DHCP database from one server computer (the source server) to another server computer (the destination server). To accomplish the migration of the DHCP database, first backup the source database and then restore the database on the destination DHCP server.
