Add a New Class or Attribute Definition to the AD LDS Schema

Membership in the Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD LDS) Administrators group, or equivalent, is the minimum required to complete this procedure. Review details about using the appropriate accounts and group memberships at Local and Domain Default Groups (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=83477).
To add a new schema class or attribute definition to the AD LDS schema
Open the Active Directory Schema snap-in and connect to the AD LDS instance in which you want to deactivate classes or attributes. For more information, see Use the Active Directory Schema Snap-in to Administer AD LDS Instances.
In the console tree, double-click Active Directory Schema.
Do one of the following:
To add a class definition, in the console tree, right-click Classes, click Create Class, and then provide the requested information.
To add an attribute definition, in the console tree, right-click Attributes, click Create Attribute, and then provide the requested information.
