Namespace:  System

Syntax

'Declaration

    item1 As T1, _
    item2 As T2, _
    item3 As T3 _
) As Tuple(Of T1, T2, T3)
public static Tuple<T1, T2, T3> Create<T1, T2, T3>(

Remarks

Create is a helper method that you can call to instantiate a 3-tuple object without having to explicitly specify the types of its components. The following example uses the Create method to instantiate a 3-tuple.

Dim tuple3 = Tuple.Create("New York", 32.68, 51.87)
var tuple3 = Tuple.Create("New York", 32.68, 51.87);

This code is equivalent to the following call to the Tuple<T1, T2, T3>.Tuple<T1, T2, T3> class constructor.

Dim tuple3 = New Tuple(Of String, Double, Double)("New York", 32.68, 51.87)
var tuple3 = new Tuple<string, double, double>
                      ("New York", 32.68, 51.87);
