Lync Room Systems are designed to extend the Lync meeting experience to the conference room. A Lync Room System includes all the required hardware and Lync Room System Edition software. The hardware includes, at a minimum, one or two large touch-enabled displays, high definition video cameras and microphones, and a console in the conference room that enables participation without a laptop or desktop from within the meeting room. These products are tested and are optimized for Lync.
