What happens if I need to stop taking lessons and still have paid lessons remaining?

We can put your lessons on hold or provide a refund

If you need to pause or stop your lessons for any reason, we provide two convenient options:

  1. Placing Lessons on Hold: You can choose to put your unused paid lesson funds on hold. These will be credited to your account as a positive Account Balance.

  2. Refunding Unused Lessons: Alternatively, we offer refunds for any future unused lesson credits.

Canceling your lessons

Online Cancellation: You can cancel lessons directly from your online student account.

Cancellation Deadline: Ensure that you cancel at least 24 hours prior to your next scheduled lesson to ensure your available funds include all the lessons you are expecting. 

Requesting a refund

Contact Support: After you have canceled your lessons, contact our Support Team to request a refund for any unused lessons.

Response Time: We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days.

Membership Benefits: Account Balance

Members who do not request a refund will enjoy additional benefits:

  • 90-Day Usage: Your remaining balance will be available as a positive Account Balance, which must be used within 90 days toward a lesson purchase or a refund request.

  • Conversion to TakeLessons Library Access: After 90 days, any unused Account Balance will be automatically converted into access to the TakeLessons Library, a member-only service that features exclusive lesson content you may access through your Student Dashboard.

  • Library Access Duration: Each lesson credit not refunded or used grants one month of access to the TakeLessons Library, until the remaining balance is fully utilized.
