Modules in this learning path

This module introduces the concepts, information, and processes for the e-commerce site that relates to the business-to-business processes in Dynamics 365 Commerce. This module introduces important concepts, such as the content management system and the module library.

In this module, you'll learn how to set up business-to-business functionality for your existing e-commerce site. The new additions to your site will ensure that your business partners and customers have a cohesive experience visiting your site. Additionally, you'll learn about site-level settings and how to create different types of pages. You'll also learn how to use the module library to add or modify an e-commerce website in the site builder for Dynamics 365 Commerce for your business partners.

You've set up the e-commerce B2B website and have created the business partner sign-up pages and other business partner management pages. Now, you'll need to complete other processes to manage the business partner organizations and users in Dynamics 365 Commerce.

Unlike B2C customers, B2B customers typically order items in large quantities, order multiple times, use invoice management, and use specific payment methods. This module describes the processes to complete to meet the needs of these customers on the Dynamics 365 Commerce B2B e-commerce websites so that you can provide these various capabilities.

Catalogs are groups of products and pricing to be shared across your B2B online stores. As a result, business partners can take advantage of sales and discounts that are available for a set of products that are offered in the catalogs for specific dates on the e-commerce website.

Organizations can use price groups to share sales agreement pricing and catalog-specific pricing between all business partners on their e-commerce site. As a result, prices throughout Dynamics 365 Commerce and the B2B e-commerce site are consistent while you’re coordinating active dates and expirations for each group.
