Retrieves a flag that indicates whether the symbol was generated by the compiler.

Syntax

HRESULT get_compilerGenerated ( 
   BOOL* pRetVal
);

Parameters

pRetVal

[out] Returns TRUE if the compiler generated the symbol; otherwise, returns FALSE if the symbol was generated from user-written source.

Return Value

If successful, returns S_OK; otherwise, returns S_FALSE or error code.

Note

A return value of S_FALSE means the property is not available for the symbol.
