Device management
Cloud PC size recommendation tool
In a future update, you'll have access to a new Intune admin center tool that recommends appropriate sizes for Cloud PCs to better fit your organization's needs.
Support for symmetric NAT with RDP Shortpath
In a future update, RDP Shortpath in Windows 365 will support establishing an indirect UDP connection using Traversal Using Relays around NAT (TURN) for symmetric NAT. TURN is a popular standard for device-to-device networking for low latency, high-throughput data transmission with Azure Communication Services. Offline Windows 365 Frontline Cloud PCs update sync
In a future update, Windows 365 Frontline Cloud PCs that haven’t been used for seven days will be automatically turned on and synced with Windows Update for Business Policies.
Maintenance windows (preview)
You'll be able to set maintenance windows for running remote actions on Cloud PCs. This will notify users in-session about the impending remote action period.
Intune scope tags
In a future update, Windows 365 will support Intune scope tags.
Miscellaneous
Intune admin center user interface change
The current Devices navigation list will change from Provisioning > Windows 365 to Device onboarding > Cloud PC creation.
Monitor and troubleshoot
End user manual connectivity check
End users will be able to manually run connectivity checks on their Cloud PCs from windows365.microsoft.com.
New alert rule: Cloud PCs that aren't available
A new alert rule will be available to notify you when Cloud PCs aren't available (not immediately available for Windows 365 Frontline). For more information about alerts in general, see Alerts in Windows 365.
Cloud PC utilization report creation date
In a future update, the Cloud PC utilization report will the Cloud PC creation date.
Provisioning
New health check: UDP TURN (preview)
A new UDP TURN check will be added to the Azure Network Connections health checks. For more information about health checks, see Azure network connections health checks.
Security
FQDN requirement changes
In a future update, Windows 365 will remove a large number of FQDNs from the current published list and move them to the existing *.infra.windows365.microsoft.com wildcard FQDN. This change will reduce the initial configuration requirements and the change rate of connectivity requirements. For Windows 365 Government, the FQDNs will be moved to *.infra.windows365.microsoft.us.
New 15-minute Sign-in frequency option
When single sign-on is turned on, selecting the Conditional access > Session > Sign-in frequency > Every time option will provide a 15-minute reauthentication period.
