[Warning: UMDF 2 is the latest version of UMDF and supersedes UMDF 1. All new UMDF drivers should be written using UMDF 2. No new features are being added to UMDF 1 and there is limited support for UMDF 1 on newer versions of Windows 10. Universal Windows drivers must use UMDF 2. For more info, see Getting Started with UMDF.] The IWDFIoTargetStateManagement interface exposes methods that manage and monitor the state of an I/O target object. ## Methods
The IWDFIoTargetStateManagement interface has these methods.
|wudfddi.IWDFIoTargetStateManagement.GetState||The GetState method returns the current state of a local I/O target.|
|wudfddi.IWDFIoTargetStateManagement.Remove||The Remove method removes a local I/O target.|
|wudfddi.IWDFIoTargetStateManagement.Start||The Start method starts sending queued requests to a local I/O target.|
|wudfddi.IWDFIoTargetStateManagement.Stop||The Stop method stops sending queued requests to a local I/O target.|
Drivers obtain the IWDFIoTargetStateManagement interface by calling IWDFIoTarget::QueryInterface, IWDFUsbTargetPipe::QueryInterface, or IWDFUsbTargetPipe2::QueryInterface.
|End of support||Unavailable in UMDF 2.0 and later.|
|Minimum UMDF version||1.5|
