About Storage Silo Drivers
This section describes the underlying design and architecture of the storage silo driver system components, which enable the following sequence of events:
User connects an IEEE 1667-compliant storage device to their system.
Device is recognized. Appropriate drivers, system components and third-party components are installed and configured.
The Windows shell and any installed third party applications can discover, access, manage, and interact with the device in accordance with the IEEE 1667 specification.
