Office 2013 Basic Test Cases (Lync)

Basic test cases to verify that Office 2013 works with a display driver or system. Lync Setup Required: 2 Lync user accounts and 2 machines with webcams and capable video 1. On 2 different machines with different user accounts, boot Lync 2. From User1's Lync instance, double click User2's name to start an IM conversation with user User2 3. In User1's Lync IM window, hover over the video icon in the bottom of the IM window. A pop up menu should appear with video coming from User1's webcam 4. Verify that the video is smooth and there are no rendering issues In addition to specific verifications listed in the steps above, the general types of issues that may be encountered include: Application crashes Broken or missing functionality Rendering issues (ie. flickering UI, frame rate drops, piecemeal drawing, failure to repaint, choppy or slow animations) App Responsiveness problems (typing, selection, UI, "Not Responding", hangs, Inability to cancel)
