Audio Codec - Audio Logo Test - Certification

This automated test verifies that WaveRT drivers support pull-mode audio-streaming technology by implementing the IMiniportWaveRTStreamNotification interface.

Parameter:

[WDKDeviceID] - set this parameter to device ID when scheduling from Job Explorer for private testing

Running the test

Before you run the test, complete the test setup as described in the test requirements: Audio Device Testing Prerequisites.

All test cases return PASS or FAIL. To review test details, review the test log from Windows Hardware Lab Kit (Windows HLK) Studio.

The test should return PASS if the following occur:

  1. Render to all audio endpoints simultaneously is successful.

  2. A nearby associated hardware mute control exists on compressed endpoints

  3. All audio render endpoints successfully render streams in exclusive pull mode.

  4. All audio capture endpoints successfully capture streams in exclusive pull mode.

Command syntax

Command option Description

AudioLogo

Without any options, the test enumerates audio devices.

-c [string]

This option starts the application and runs the test cases that are specified in the .profile file.

-h [string]

This option specifies the Plug and Play (PnP) ID of the device to be tested.

This is the .profile file of test cases to be run.
