Msvm_Ps2Mouse class

Represents a PS2 mouse device. Instances of this class are logical devices that are always present in a virtual machine, and thus are not allocated through a resource pool. One instance is always present in a virtual machine.

Note

This class is not available to generation 2 virtual machines.

An address or other identifying information to uniquely name the logical device. This property is inherited from CIM_LogicalDevice, and it is always set to "Microsoft:GUID".

ElementName

Data type: string

Access type: Read-only

A display name for the object. This property allows each instance to define a display name in addition to its key properties, identity data, and description information. The Name property of the CIM_ManagedSystemElement class is also defined as a display name. But, it is often subclassed to be a Key. It is not reasonable that the same property can convey both identity and a display name, without inconsistencies. Where Name exists and is not a Key (such as for instances of CIM_LogicalDevice), the same information can be present in both the Name and ElementName properties.
