IVMVirtualMachine::AddNetworkAdapter method

[Windows Virtual PC is no longer available for use as of Windows 8. Instead, use the Hyper-V WMI provider (V2).]

Adds a network interface to the virtual machine.

Syntax

HRESULT AddNetworkAdapter(
  [out, retval] IVMNetworkAdapter **networkAdapter
);

Parameters

networkAdapter [out, retval]

An IVMNetworkAdapter object.

Return value

This method can return one of these values.

Remarks

You can only add a new network interface to a stopped virtual machine. The newly created network adapter is not connected to a virtual network.
