IVMVirtualMachine::TurnOff method

[Windows Virtual PC is no longer available for use as of Windows 8. Instead, use the Hyper-V WMI provider (V2).]

Turns off the virtual machine.

Syntax

HRESULT TurnOff(
  [out, retval] IVMTask **turnOffTask
);

Parameters

turnOffTask [out, retval]

An IVMTask object that is used to track the completion progress of the virtual machine's turnoff sequence.

Return value

This method can return one of these values.

Remarks

This method turns off the virtual machine in the same manner as turning the power off on a physical machine.
