External.buy method
[The feature associated with this page, Windows Media Player SDK, is a legacy feature. It has been superseded by MediaPlayer. MediaPlayer has been optimized for Windows 10 and Windows 11. Microsoft strongly recommends that new code use MediaPlayer instead of Windows Media Player SDK, when possible. The buy method initiates the purchase of a set of media items.
Syntax
External.buy(
ViewType,
ViewIDs
)
Parameters

ViewType [in]

String that specifies the type of item to be purchased. The caller must set this parameter to one of the following library location constants:
CPListID
CPTrackID
CPAlbumID

ViewIDs [in]

String containing the IDs, delimited by semicolons, of the items to be purchased.
Return value
This method does not return a value.
