ISurrogateService interface

[Use of ISurrogateService is not recommended; use IProcessInitControl instead.]

Used to initialize, launch, and release a COM+ application. You can also refresh the catalog and shut down the process.

Methods

The ISurrogateService interface has these methods.

Method Description
ISurrogateService::ApplicationFree Releases the application.
ISurrogateService::ApplicationLaunch Launches the application.
ISurrogateService::CatalogRefresh Refreshes the catalog.
ISurrogateService::Init Initializes the process server.
ISurrogateService::ProcessShutdown Shuts down the process.
