[The feature associated with this page, Windows Media Player SDK, is a legacy feature. It has been superseded by MediaPlayer. MediaPlayer has been optimized for Windows 10 and Windows 11. Microsoft strongly recommends that new code use MediaPlayer instead of Windows Media Player SDK, when possible. Microsoft suggests that existing code that uses the legacy APIs be rewritten to use the new APIs if possible.]
The LibraryID attribute is the identifier of the library that the item belongs to.

A media item might belong to the current user's local library or it might belong to a library that has been made available by another user on the home network or the Internet.
The value of this attribute is the same as the value returned by the IWMPLibrary2::getItemInfo method.
