IVMRImagePresenterConfig::SetRenderingPrefs method (strmif.h)

[The feature associated with this page, DirectShow, is a legacy feature. It has been superseded by MediaPlayer, IMFMediaEngine, and Audio/Video Capture in Media Foundation. Those features have been optimized for Windows 10 and Windows 11. The SetRenderingPrefs method sets the rendering preferences on the VMR-7 filter's allocator-presenter.

The VMR-7 filter's IVMRFilterConfig::SetRenderingPrefs method calls through to this method.

Syntax

HRESULT SetRenderingPrefs(
  [in] DWORD dwRenderFlags
);

Parameters

[in] dwRenderFlags

A bitwise OR combination of VMRRenderPrefs flags that will be used to configure the allocator-presenter.

Return value

If the method succeeds, it returns S_OK. If it fails, it returns an error code.
