IDot11AdHocInterface::GetDeviceSignature method (adhoc.h)
Gets the signature of the NIC. This signature is stored in the registry and it is used by TCP/IP to uniquely identify the NIC.
Syntax
HRESULT GetDeviceSignature(
[in, out] GUID *pSignature
);
Parameters
[in, out] pSignature
The signature of the NIC.
Return value
Possible return values include, but are not limited to, the following.

The method could not allocate the memory required to perform this operation. |

A pointer passed as a parameter is not valid. |
