XMVector3InverseRotate function (directxmath.h)

Rotates a 3D vector using the inverse of a quaternion.

Syntax

XMVECTOR XM_CALLCONV XMVector3InverseRotate(
  [in] FXMVECTOR V,
  [in] FXMVECTOR RotationQuaternion
) noexcept;

Parameters

[in] V

3D vector to rotate.

[in] RotationQuaternion

Quaternion that describes the inverse of the rotation to apply to the vector.

Return value

Returns the rotated 3D vector.
