XMVector4AngleBetweenVectors function (directxmath.h)

Compute the radian angle between two 4D vectors.

Syntax

XMVECTOR XM_CALLCONV XMVector4AngleBetweenVectors(
  [in] FXMVECTOR V1,
  [in] FXMVECTOR V2
) noexcept;

Parameters

[in] V1

4D vector.

[in] V2

4D vector.

Return value

Returns a vector. The radian angle between V1 and V2 is replicated to each of the components.

Remarks

If V1 and V2 are normalized 4D vectors, it is faster to use XMVector4AngleBetweenNormals.
