IMFPMediaItem::GetCharacteristics method (mfplay.h)

Important Deprecated. This API may be removed from future releases of Windows. Applications should use the Media Session for playback.

Gets various flags that describe the media item.

Syntax

HRESULT GetCharacteristics(
  [out] MFP_MEDIAITEM_CHARACTERISTICS *pCharacteristics
);

[out] pCharacteristics

Receives a bitwise OR of flags from the _MFP_MEDIAITEM_CHARACTERISTICS enumeration.

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
