Sets the state of a target object.

Syntax

HRESULT SetTargetState(
  [in]  BSTR         targetName,
  [in]  TARGET_STATE newState,
  [out] TARGET_STATE *pOldState
);

Parameters

[in] targetName

The name of the target.

[in] newState

The TARGET_STATE value to set.

[out] pOldState

The previous state of the target.

Return value

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
