Opens a specified resource.

Syntax

HRESULT OpenResource(
  [in]  const SHELL_ITEM_RESOURCE *pcsir,
  [in]  REFIID                    riid,
  [out] void                      **ppv
);

Parameters

[in] pcsir

Type: const SHELL_ITEM_RESOURCE*

A pointer to a SHELL_ITEM_RESOURCE resource.

[in] riid

Type: REFIID

A reference to a desired IID.

[out] ppv

Type: void**

The address of a pointer to a resource.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
