Gets a parameter or annotation description.

Syntax

HRESULT GetParameterDesc(
  [in]  D3DXHANDLE         hParameter,
  [out] D3DXPARAMETER_DESC *pDesc
);

Parameters

hParameter [in]

Type: D3DXHANDLE

Parameter or annotation handle. See Handles (Direct3D 9).

pDesc [out]

Type: D3DXPARAMETER_DESC*

Returns a description of the specified parameter or annotation. See D3DXPARAMETER_DESC.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If the method succeeds, the return value is S_OK. If the method fails, the return value can be D3DERR_INVALIDCALL.
