Decoding to S/PDIF (Microsoft Media Foundation)
The class identifier for the decoder object that transforms Windows Media Audio 9.1 Professional content for delivery over the Sony/Philips Digital Interconnect Format (S/PDIF) is CLSID_CWMAudioSpdTxDMO. You use this object as you would any other decoder . It supports the same properties as the Windows Media Audio 9 decoder . The output types enumerated by this decoder are all S/PDIF formats.
To fully support S/PDIF output, the client computer must have special hardware installed.
