[The feature associated with this page, Windows Media Player SDK, is a legacy feature. It has been superseded by MediaPlayer. MediaPlayer has been optimized for Windows 10 and Windows 11. The textLimit attribute specifies or retrieves the maximum number of characters that the user can type in the edit box control.

This attribute is a read/write Number (long) with a default value of 0, which indicates no limit.
