En el ejemplo siguiente se muestra el escenario que se describe en la sección Comentarios. En el ejemplo se permite que un usuario escriba datos para un elemento de biblioteca y envíe los datos. El enlace para el TextBox objeto con nombre callNum tiene asociado ValidationRule . Cuando pierde el TextBox foco, el ejemplo llama a ValidateWithoutUpdate. Cuando el usuario hace clic en el botón Enviar, el ejemplo llama UpdateSource a para confirmar los cambios. El código XAML siguiente crea la interfaz de usuario para la aplicación.

Comentarios

El ValidateWithoutUpdate método permite ejecutar reglas de validación en un enlace sin actualizar el origen del enlace. Esto resulta útil cuando desea validar la entrada del usuario y actualizar el origen en momentos diferentes en una aplicación.

Por ejemplo, supongamos que tiene un formulario para actualizar un origen de datos que contiene un botón enviar. Quiere proporcionar comentarios al usuario si se escribe un valor no válido antes de que el usuario intente enviar el formulario. Puede comprobar la validez de un campo estableciendo la propiedad Explicit del UpdateSourceTrigger enlace en y llamando ValidateWithoutUpdate cuando pierde el TextBox foco.
