Kontainer status sesi menyediakan akses ke nilai keadaan sesi dan informasi terkait untuk sesi saat ini. Informasi sesi yang disertakan dalam kontainer keadaan sesi diekspos ke kode aplikasi melalui HttpSessionState kelas menggunakan Session properti . Kelas HttpSessionState adalah kelas pembungkus untuk kontainer keadaan sesi.

Implementasi ASP.NET kontainer keadaan sesi adalah HttpSessionStateContainer kelas .
