Definizione

Utilizzare la HostName proprietà per fare in modo che il agente di merge sostituiscano il valore restituito in genere dalla funzione HOST_NAME quando questa funzione viene usata per definire un filtro con parametri. Ad esempio, se si usa la clausola LoginID = HOST_NAME() di filtro con parametri per definire il filtro orizzontale per un articolo e se si imposta la HostName proprietà su "adventure-works\david8" prima di chiamare il Synchronize metodo , il agente di merge sincronizza i dati per la partizione definita da "adventure-works\david8".

Il caso della HostName proprietà viene ignorato solo quando sia il server di pubblicazione che il database di pubblicazione vengono configurati come senza distinzione tra maiuscole e minuscole.
