How to: Display the Report Builder Options Dialog Box

The report builder application, reportbuilder.app, features an Options dialog box where various configuration settings can be adjusted.

Important

Unlike the settings in the Visual FoxPro Options Dialog Box (Visual FoxPro), adjustments to report builder settings in this dialog box do not persist between Visual FoxPro sessions.

Tip

You can remove access to this dialog box for end-users modifying reports, by issuing the MODIFY REPORT | LABEL command with the PROTECTED keyword in your application.

To open the Builder Options dialog box from the Report or Label Designer

  1. Right-click the report layout background, and select Properties… from the context menu.

    - OR -

    Open the Properties dialog box of any report control or report band.

  2. Right-click the surface of the dialog box to display the dialog boxes context menu.

  3. Select Options…

    The Builder Options dialog box appears.
