Un programma può essere suddiviso, ad esempio, per alcuni dei motivi seguenti:

un punto di interruzione è stato premuto.ottiene dbgEventReasonBreakpoint.
Un'eccezione è stata generata un'eccezione.ottiene dbgEventReasonExceptionThrown.
Un'eccezione è stata generata un'eccezione ma non è stata gestita dal programma sottoposto a debug.ottiene dbgEventReasonExceptionNotHandled.

Se non si sta eseguendo il debug o il debugger è in modalità di esecuzione, questa proprietà restituisce dbgEventReasonNone.
