Gadgets for Windows Sidebar - Presentation Object Reference

[ The Windows Gadget Platform/Sidebar is available for use in the following versions of Windows: Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows Server 2008. It may be altered or unavailable in subsequent versions. ]

This section describes the three Windows Sidebar scripting elements that define gadget presentation functionality such as backgrounds, images, and text handling. These elements are composed of g:background, g:text, and g:image along with the gimage protocol (described in more detail in Developing a Gadget for Windows Sidebar Part 2: The G:BACKGROUND, G:IMAGE, G:TEXT Presentation Elements and GIMAGE Protocol).
