Determines whether security is present on this operating system.

Syntax

public static final boolean getSecure()

Return Value

Returns true if security is present; otherwise, returns false.

Remarks

The getSecure method allows you to determine whether a Security Manager is available on the operating system. Windows NT provides a Security Manager to determine access to the registry and file system access. Windows 95 does not provide a Security Manager.
