Register as a developer for API plugins for Microsoft Copilot

To register as a developer for API plugins for Microsoft Copilot, if you're part of an incorporated organization, see Register as a developer from an organization, below. If you aren't part of an incorporated organization, see Register as an individual developer, below.

Register as a developer from an organization

1. Sign in to your Partner Center dashboard (if you are a member of the Private Preview). The Welcome to Partner Center: Steps to program registration page appears:

   

2. If you don't already have a Microsoft Entra ID account (formerly Azure Active Directory, or AAD), click the Create work account link. The Create a new work account - Azure Active Directory page appears:

   

   Enter details about your organization, including the primary point of contact of your organization. Click the Create button. After a few minutes, your new work account is ready to use.

3. Once you have a Microsoft Entra ID account, in the Welcome to Partner Center: Steps to program registration page, click the Sign in as organization button, and then sign in using your work account. The Join a program to unlock new opportunities page opens:

   

4. Select Plugins for Microsoft Copilot, and then click the Next button. A Company information page opens, which might be pre-filled if your company has already been registered:

   

5. Confirm your details, read the Plugins for Microsoft Copilot program agreement, and then click the Accept and continue button.

   Your account is submitted for verification, and the Plugins tile appears in your Partner Center dashboard:

   

6. If verification is unsuccessful, you receive an email containing details. To retry or appeal the decision, see Appealing a rejected application in Verify your account information when you enroll in a new Partner Center program.

Register as an individual developer

1. Sign in to your Partner Center dashboard (if you are a member of the Private Preview). The Welcome to Partner Center: Steps to program registration page appears:

   

2. If you do not already have a Microsoft Account (MSA), click the Create personal account link.

3. Once you have an account, click the Sign in as individual button. The Join a program to unlock new opportunities page opens:

   

4. Select Plugins for Microsoft Copilot, and then click the Next button. A short Account Information page opens. In the Account country/region dropdown list, select the country or region, and then click the Next button. A long Account Information page opens:

   

5. Confirm your account information details, read the Plugins for Microsoft Copilot program agreement, and then click the Accept and continue button.

   Your account is submitted for verification, and the Plugins tile appears in your Partner Center dashboard:

   

6. If verification is unsuccessful, you receive an email containing details. To retry or appeal the decision, see Appealing a rejected application in Verify your account information when you enroll in a new Partner Center program.
