Comentários

Quando o FormView controle estiver no modo de inserção, use o InsertItem método para inserir programaticamente o registro atual na fonte de dados. Esse método geralmente é usado quando você precisa inserir o registro atual de fora do FormView controle, como de um controle diferente na página.

Observação

O FormView controle deve estar no modo de inserção quando esse método é chamado; caso contrário, um HttpException é gerado.

Para especificar se a validação de página é executada antes da operação de inserção, use o causesValidation parâmetro . Chamar esse método também gera os ItemInserted eventos e ItemInserting .
