Свойство PropertySettings представляет собой RootProfilePropertySettingsCollection коллекцию ProfilePropertySettings объектов и коллекцию ProfileGroupSettings объектов, каждая из которых предоставляет именованную коллекцию других ProfilePropertySettings объектов. Эти коллекции используются подсистемой компиляции ASP.NET для динамического создания вызываемого ProfileCommonкласса, который является производным от ProfileBase. Свойства ProfileCommon класса состоят из свойств, определенных в двух коллекциях. Кроме того, каждое свойство ProfileCommon группы класса будет содержать собственные свойства, определенные для этой группы.
