Для CurrentNotification этого свойства требуется интегрированный режим конвейера в IIS 7.0 и по крайней мере платформа .NET Framework версии 3.0. При наличии свойство возвращает RequestNotification значение. Значение CurrentNotification свойства указывает, какое событие в экземпляре HttpApplication в настоящее время обрабатывает запрос.

Свойство CurrentNotification не предназначено для задания. Вместо этого он задается iis 7.0 во время обработки запроса в конвейере ASP.NET. CurrentNotification Установка свойства приведет к ошибке компиляции.
