Device family
Windows 10 Creators Update (introduced in 10.0.15063.0)

Windows.Foundation.UniversalApiContract (introduced in v4.0)

Remarks

You can programmatically provide metadata for media items, instead of having the system dynamically load the metadata in the content, by calling GetDisplayProperties, setting the data of the returned [MediaItemDisplayProperties] (mediaitemdisplayproperties.md), and then calling ApplyDisplayProperties. For more information, see Media items, playlists, and tracks.
