The WIA_IPA_BITS_PER_CHANNEL property contains the number of bits per channel for the image. The WIA minidriver creates and maintains this property.

The WIA_IPA_BITS_PER_CHANNEL property is similar to the WIA_IPA_RAW_BITS_PER_CHANNEL property (which is used for the raw formats).
