How to Remove the Gateway Server in Operations Manager 2007

The System Center Operations Manager 2007 gateway server is removed using Add or Remove Programs. The gateway server must also be deleted from the Management Group.

Important

Before a gateway server is removed or deleted, managed objects must be configured to use a different Management Server or proxy. To remove the gateway server

  1. Log on to the computer with an account that is a member of the Administrators group.

  2. Open Control Panel, and then open Add or Remove Programs.

  3. In Add or Remove Programs, click Change or Remove Programs, and under the list of Currently installed programs, click System Center Operations Manager 2007 Gateway, and then click Remove.
