Definice

Porovná aktuální instanci s jiným objektem stejného typu a vrátí celé číslo udávající, zda aktuální instance předchází, následuje nebo se vyskytuje ve stejné pozici v pořadí řazení jako druhý objekt.

Hodnota Význam

Příklady

Následující příklad kódu znázorňuje implementaci jednoduchého IComparable<T> Temperature objektu. Příklad vytvoří SortedList<TKey,TValue> kolekci řetězců s Temperature klíči objektů a přidá několik dvojic teplot a řetězců do seznamu mimo posloupnost. V volání Add metody SortedList<TKey,TValue> kolekce používá IComparable<T> implementaci k řazení položek seznamu, které se pak zobrazují v pořadí zvýšení teploty.

Poznámky

CompareTo poskytuje metodu porovnání silného typu pro řazení členů obecného objektu kolekce. Z tohoto důvodu se obvykle nevolá přímo z vývojářského kódu. Místo toho se volá automaticky metodami, jako jsou a List<T>.Sort() Add.

Tato metoda je pouze definice a musí být implementována konkrétní třídou nebo typem hodnoty, aby měla vliv. Význam porovnání zadaných v části Návratové hodnoty ("předchází", "probíhá ve stejné pozici jako" a "následuje) závisí na konkrétní implementaci.

Podle definice se všechny objekty porovnávají větší než nulla dva odkazy null se vzájemně porovnávají.

Poznámky pro implementátory

Pro objekty A, B a C musí být splněné následující hodnoty: A.CompareTo(A) se vyžaduje k vrácení nuly.

Pokud funkce A.CompareTo(B) vrátí nulu, je nutné vrátit nulu b.CompareTo(A).

Pokud funkce A.CompareTo(B) vrátí nulu a B.CompareTo(C) vrátí nulu , je nutné vrátit nulu.

Pokud funkce A.CompareTo(B) vrátí jinou hodnotu než nula, pak je nutné, aby funkce B.CompareTo(A) vrátila hodnotu opačného znaménka.

Pokud funkce A.CompareTo(B) vrátí hodnotux, která není rovna nule, a funkce B.CompareTo(C) vrátí hodnotu y stejného znaménka jako x, pak je nutné vrátit hodnotu stejného znaménka jako x a y.
