Outllook Autocomplete List Showing Up Towards Top of the screen

I'm using outlook 2019 desktop version. When I write a new email and start typing a contact the autocomplete contact list window appears ABOVE the field "To:" and I can't read all of the addresses (the window is not inside the screen).

How can I fix this? I need the list to appear below the field "To:".

Thank you,

    Hi @Nicola Soccal ,

    Welcome to our forum.

What's the specific version of your Outlook client(File>Office account>About Outlook)? According to my test on my Outlook 2019(Version 2104 Build 13929.20296), the autocomplete list could work normally like below, which seems to I couldn't reproduce your issue:

For your issue itself, did all users in your organization have same issue ? And have you performed any specific operations before it(such as install any update or others)?

Based on my research, I found a similar thread before, which mentioned reverting to an previous version could work normally for them, so in order to avoid the any errors in your last update, it's recommended to follow the suggestions to revert your Office version and re-update your Office to check if it could be helpful to you.

If your issue has any update, please feel free to post back.

    Hi all,

First of all sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.

As I know, this is a known issue on latest version of Outlook 2016 and Outlook 2019--Version 2104 (Build 13929.20296), the current workaround is to delete/rename this value:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Options\DisableAutoCompleteUpdate

But according to my research, it could work for some clients, but some couldn't, please kindly check if it could be helpful to you.

If that's invalid, considering it could work normally on previous version, as another workaround, it's suggested to disable auto-update and revert your office version via command like below:

    C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\ClickToRun\OfficeC2RClient.exe" /update user updatetoversion=16.0.13901.20462

I will continue to monitor it in latest version of Outlook client, and if there are any updates, I would post back. Also welcome other users who has any updates post here :)

    Hello,
I had this exact problem with client like 2 weeks ago. solved it with downgrading.
Now my office 2019 proplus updated to Build 13929.20296 and i have this issue.
My colleague updated this very minute and same thing on his pc.
If you have outlook in fullscreen, you can see only THREE !!!! entries.
    Unbelieveable ...
few minutes ago i got "bug" and it appeared correctly (from up to down)

Downgrading is not a solution !!!

key mentioned by JadeLiang-MSFT is not found.
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Options\DisableAutoCompleteUpdate
