Many people use the SharePoint connection in their flows. Previously, when you pasted a SharePoint URL into the SharePoint Address field, the URL might contain additional text beyond the site. This additional text caused a SharePoint Address validation to fail. For example, you might have this SharePoint URL: https://contoso.sharepoint.com/teams/pmteam/Shared%20Documents/Forms/AllItems.aspx?id=%2Fteams%2Fpmteam%2FShared%20Documents%2FSpecs.

With automatic trimming, the URL becomes: https://contoso.sharepoint.com/teams/pmteam/. To use this feature, select Enter custom value in the SharePoint Address field, and then paste in the URL. After a moment the URL is automatically shortened to contain only the site portion of the URL.
