## Definition

Decrements the Decimal operand by one.

#### Parameters

d
Decimal Decimal Decimal Decimal

The value to decrement.

#### Returns

The value of `d` decremented by 1.

#### Exceptions

The return value is less than MinValue or greater than MaxValue.

## Remarks

The Decrement method defines the operation of the decrement operator for Decimal values. It enables code such as the following:
