Definition
Sets the date and time, in coordinated universal time (UTC), that the specified file was last written to.

Parameters

The file for which to set the date and time information.
- lastWriteTimeUtc
- DateTime
A DateTime containing the value to set for the last write date and time of path
. This value is expressed in UTC time.
Exceptions
path
is a zero-length string, contains only white space, or contains one or more invalid characters as defined by InvalidPathChars.
path
is null
.
The specified path, file name, or both exceed the system-defined maximum length.
The specified path was not found.
The caller does not have the required permission.
path
is in an invalid format.
lastWriteTimeUtc
specifies a value outside the range of dates or times permitted for this operation.
Remarks
The path
parameter is permitted to specify relative or absolute path information. Relative path information is interpreted as relative to the current working directory. To obtain the current working directory, see GetCurrentDirectory.
