Control.OnSystemColorsChanged(EventArgs) Method

Definition

Raises the SystemColorsChanged event.

protected:
 virtual void OnSystemColorsChanged(EventArgs ^ e);
protected virtual void OnSystemColorsChanged (EventArgs e);
abstract member OnSystemColorsChanged : EventArgs -> unit
override this.OnSystemColorsChanged : EventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnSystemColorsChanged (e As EventArgs)

Parameters

e
EventArgs

An EventArgs that contains the event data.

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.

The OnSystemColorsChanged method also enables derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding OnSystemColorsChanged(EventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnSystemColorsChanged(EventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
