Microsoft Dynamics 365 - Service Update 210 Release Notes


Service Update 210 for Microsoft Dynamics 365 9.1.0 is now available. This article describes the hotfixes and updates that are included in Service Update 210.

Important

Note: Service Update naming convention has been revised to clarify the link between the version number and Service Update number. For example, Service Update 150 will now correspond to version number 150xx. Occasionally a Service Update will be canceled and all associated fixes will be rolled into a subsequent Service Update. For this reason, Service Update numbers may not always increase incrementally.

To determine whether your organization had this update applied, check your Microsoft Dynamics 365 version number. Click the gear icon in the upper-right corner, and then click About.

An (*) at the end of a fix statement denotes that this repair item was incorporated into multiple service update releases.

Service Update 210 resolves the following issues:

Repaired Functionality

The following list details issues whose resolutions repair items in Dynamics that are not functioning.

Accessibility

  • When using keyboard navigation, navigating with tab past the “Clear filter” button would bring focus back to the start of the list.*
  • The accessibility screen reader narrated the incorrect amount of records when announcing a search result.
  • The accessibility screen reader did not apply focus to the 'blank' text within a pie chart.
  • Narrator had not read the label name of the status message in the 'Case title' field.
  • When voiceover was enabled on tablet devices, ‘Create a Timeline Record’ could not be closed without selecting any option after expanding.
  • The screen reader had not read the error message, “User must provide unique name” when adding a nonunique name for a custom filter.

Knowledge Management

  • Certain filter mappings cause attributes to not appear in Knowledge Base search results.
  • When selecting the 'View full email content' option in the timeline, the web page refreshed and navigated to the 'Cases' page.
  • When restoring an archived article, the restoration process remained "in progress" indefinitely.
  • Within resource scheduling, the "Work Hours" calendar would not load in older versions of Edge and Internet Explorer 11.
  • Web client entities could not be loaded a customer timeline was present.*
  • When creating a card configuration, the user interface displayed plain text where rich text was added in the fifth column.*
  • When viewing a full email content link in timeline, the page had refreshed or navigated to grid.

Platform Services

  • Emails marked as 'Tracked regarding' would incorrectly be changed to 'Tracked' after a short time.
  • When importing leads, the lead owner was set to the user performing the import when using German language settings.
  • An error occurred when creating or viewing a new case in the Customer Service Hub.*
  • When adding an account main form to a new solution, both the form and any business rules scoped to that account main form were added.

Sales

  • When enabling the MS Teams integration, the 'Ok' and 'Cancel' buttons in the dialog box were unresponsive when language was set to Russian.

Solutions

  • Activity Party attributes were missing in flows for ‘send email with and without templates’ when slugs were added in Legacy SLA.*
  • When running a report that contained multiple pages, the results were displayed in an incorrect order which caused the first page of the results to appear on the last page.

Unified Interface

  • The user interface did not display the image upload icon when creating a new record in a custom entity.
  • When sharing a chart with read-only access enabled, the user interface did not restrict chart content based on read-only permissions.
  • In the Customer Service Hub, an established business rule was not applied to the editable subgrids within the Unified Interface.*
  • When modifying a calendar in the Sales Hub, the user interface displayed the 'Next/Previous Month' button with differing height settings.
  • When modifying the slider control in a custom filter using a keyboard, the global filter did not contain the Save/Apply/Clear options.
  • In the Dashboard, the user interface did not show the display 'name' in the columns for form fields.
  • When using keyboard navigation, Tab and Shift + Tab actions would not focus on some fields within custom and global filters.
  • Main editable grid column headers disappeared when filters were applied on inline editable grids.*
  • Opportunity donut charts did not calculate data and would display all percentages as 0.00%.
  • When a case contained more than 50 records, the user interface did not display the number of records and thematic break at the bottom of the page, in both the Edge and Chrome browsers.
  • Tooltips did not display when mousing over a Hero control.
  • Canvas Apps did not load in Google Chrome.*
  • On mobile devices in offline mode, the user interface was unresponsive when selecting the Quick Create button.*
  • When navigating from any Dashboard to the Field Service Administrator Dashboard, the user interface would not load the Field Service Administrator Dashboard.*
  • In the Dashboard, the MultiSelect option was not present when modifying a custom filter.
  • Shift Tab (Backward focus) behaved inconsistently when navigating round a custom filter.
  • When changing stages in a Business Process Flow (BPF), the event tab displayed irrelevant records from the related tab.
  • When modifying a grid, the filter menu popup disappeared immediately and did not allow the selection of grid filters on tablet devices.
  • The offline status tab was only partially visible.
  • In Edge and Firefox browsers, the datatable in an editable grid did not display the first numerical input for a dataset and did not overwrite the previous value when focus was applied to a cell.
  • When viewing an email record in the sent folder, the user interface did not display the Forward/Reply all/Reply options in the email.*
  • When selecting the offline status tab, the user interface displayed a blank page on the left side of the app page.*
  • Converged apps could not be opened in offline mode.*
  • After selecting an item in a combobox, there was no way to unselect it.
  • The user interface did not apply focus to the "Show Details" button while high contrast settings were enabled in the Sales Hub.

Error Messages, Exceptions, and Failures

The following list details issues whose resolutions correct actions that produce errors, unhandled exceptions, or system or component failures.

Knowledge Management

  • An error occurred when loading an activity record that contained two fields within the header and body.*

Sales

  • An error containing incorrect dialog occurred during a data import that did not meet permissions requirements.

Unified Interface

  • The screen reader had not read the error message, “User must provide unique name” when adding a nonunique name for a custom filter.
  • An error occurred when creating a new control and opening it in the Unified Interface.
  • An error occurred when creating a new account without an established email.*
  • An error occured when opening the PowerBI dashboard.
  • An error occurred when trying to follow or unfollow a lead entity record.*
  • An error occurred when creating a new post and adding a mention to the message.
  • An error occurred when accessing the Notes section.*
  • An error occurred when adding custom controls to a lookup field in an Account entity.*
  • An error occurred when creating a custom view from the command bar in the Customer Service Hub.*
  • An error occurred when attempting to apply a duplication detection rule within a data set in the Unified Interface which may have resulted in a blank screen or inability to modify fields in the data set.*
